Holiday apartment or guest room?
The key difference: Our holiday apartments have their own kitchen where you can cook for yourself – ideal for families and longer stays of a week or more. The guest rooms are more compact and perfect for shorter stays from 2 nights. Instead of a kitchen, you have access to a shared kitchenette on the 1st floor with coffee machine, kettle, fridge and toaster.
Location: 50 metres to Lake Ammersee
All accommodation is located in the Sonnenhof at Summerstraße 23 in Herrsching on Lake Ammersee – just 50 metres from the lakeside. From here you can easily reach the Ammersee cycle path, the boat service to Diessen and Andechs Monastery on foot or by bicycle. Herrsching S-Bahn station (S8) is a 10-minute walk away – and you'll be at Munich's Marienplatz in 45 minutes.
Family-run for over 40 years
The Sonnenhof is run by owner Conny, representing the third generation. There's no anonymous hotel service here – you always speak directly to the owner. Whether you have special requests, need excursion tips or want an early check-in: Conny takes care of everything personally. That's why many of our guests come back year after year.
Good to know
All accommodation comes with a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi and a free parking space on site. Dogs are warmly welcome (10€/night). Children up to 3 years stay free of charge. Bed linen and towels are included. A visitor's tax of 2.00€ per night per adult is charged by the municipality of Herrsching.
